I am Dr. Ishwar Prajapati, working as a Radiologist at the Radiology and Imaging Center of Madhyapur Hospital. Today, I am going to provide you with information about the equipment available at the Radiology and Imaging Center of Madhyapur Hospital.

First of all, among the equipment available in this department for diagnosing diseases in patients are Ultrasonography, or Video X-ray, X-ray, an advanced CT Scan, which we call a Multi-Slice CT Scan, and, along with these, we also have an advanced MRI machine currently in operation.

Primarily, the Ultrasonography or Video X-ray machine is among the most frequently used equipment by patients. This machine is one of the advanced machines we have, through which examinations of the abdomen inside the body are performed, as well as examinations of various glands of the body, such as the thyroid gland, female breasts and male breasts, and reproductive organs. Similarly, detailed examinations of lumps seen on the skin are performed. Along with the examination, FNAC is also performed, in which a small needle is used to collect a sample for testing.

For women, Transvaginal Ultrasound and, when necessary, Transrectal Ultrasound services are also available, through which detailed examinations of the uterus, cervix, and related organs can be performed. Similarly, the heart of the baby in the uterus is also examined using this machine, which is called Fetal Echocardiography. Likewise, the hearts of our patients are also examined using this machine, and the scan performed at 20 weeks of pregnancy is also done using this machine, which is called an Anomaly Scan. This involves a detailed examination of all the organs and body parts of the baby in the womb. We perform this here through 3D/4D scanning. This is called a Volume Probe. Through this probe, we scan the baby in the womb.

Similarly, X-ray facilities are also available. Currently, we are providing services through a CR system. Within a week, we are going to convert and upgrade the machine to a Digitalized Radiography (DR) system. Likewise, Doppler scanning of the body is also performed using this ultrasound machine. This is called a Doppler Scan, which is used to examine blood vessels. The examination performed to identify blocked blood vessels or diseases related to blood vessels is called a Doppler Scan. Similarly, we have also been providing all types of CT Scan examinations at this hospital. CT Scan includes examinations of all organs of the body as well as Peripheral Angiography. This means that specialized examinations of the blood vessels of the body are also performed. For this, we perform the examination using contrast. By administering a separate medication, diseases of the patient's blood vessels are also examined using this machine.

Now, coming to MRI Scan, we have successfully established this advanced service for the first time in Bhaktapur District. Currently, we are providing advanced MRI facilities using this machine. I would like to inform you that CT Scan and MRI services are being operated 24 hours a day, with special priority for the people of Bhaktapur District.
